Other computing resources on campus
In addition to the HPCC, MSU offers various other computing resources. Please note that these are not administered by ICER, and we are unable to provide support for using them. Instead, contact the groups that administer the resource.
For a larger list of research resources at MSU, please see the list maintained by the Research Facilitation Network.
Digital Scholarship Lab (DSL)
The DSL is housed in the main MSU Library and provides 360-degree visualization room, a Virtual Reality Room, a computer lab with emphasis on graphics-intensive computing software and interactive visualization, and a digitization room. See a list of the software provided on DSL workstations here.
Division of Engineering Computing services (DECS)
DECS provides computational support for the college of engineering. They offer computer labs, servers, and maintain a large list of engineering-focused software that the HPCC may not support.
MSU IT
MSU IT provides technology support for the entire MSU campus. They offer a virtual desktop (similar to the HPCC's OnDemand interactive desktop), data center and server resources, and maintain many computer labs across campus. For more, please see their full service catalog.
Others
If you maintain a computational resource on campus and would like to be added to this list, please submit our documentation feedback form.
