Tensorboard

Basic Configuration

To begin a Tensorboard OnDemand session, the basic configuration we recommend is less than 4 hours (unless you require more). Note that, different to many other OnDemand apps, Tensorboard jobs are allocated to an entire node, and you cannot specify the number of cores nor memory. There is a TensorBoard Version dropdown, but we currently only have a single version (2.13.0) installed.

TensorBoard session config with 'TensorBoard version' set to 2.13.0, 'Number of hours' set to 1, and 'Log Directory' set to '~tensorboard'.

You are able to specify the directory for the log files of the session by either writing the full path under Log Directory or using the file path search option given by the Select Path button.

TensorBoard session 'Log Directory' selection interface.

Advanced Configuration Options

Note there are limited advanced options for the Tensorboard app. You cannot specify node type nor request GPU, but you can specify the SLURM account you'd like to use, and provide a SLURM reservation, if you have one.
